Description
The Mille Couleurs collection by Three Sisters for Moda was inspired by the banks of the Seine in Paris in spring to the galleries of the Museum of Printed Textiles in Mulhouse. These prints are reminiscent of mordant dye charts and scrawling ledgers from antique mill books housed in vast museums. These unique designs are accompanied by graceful damasks, delicate floral, and opulent paisleys in warm shades redolent of those achieved by natural reds and browns, woad, and the first discovered synthetic dye known as mauve.
